Holle Goat Dutch Formula Stage 3 for Babies 10 to 12 Months
Holle Goat Dutch Formula Stage 3 is a Demeter biodynamic growing-up milk based on 100 percent organic, Demeter-certified whole goat milk, designed for toddlers from around 10 to 12 months as a complement to a varied diet. Made in Germany by a brand with over 90 years of organic heritage, it is formulated to support toddler nutrition during the transition away from sole formula feeding. Breast milk is the gold standard for infant feeding, and your pediatrician can help you determine when and how to introduce growing-up milks into your child's routine.
Holle's Biodynamic Heritage
Holle has been producing certified organic food for babies since 1933, operating from its headquarters in Riehen, Switzerland, with manufacturing based in Germany. The brand holds Demeter biodynamic certification across its goat milk range, a standard that goes well beyond EU organic requirements by regulating the entire farm ecosystem, from soil biology to grazing practices and animal care.
Stage 3 carries a total Demeter share of 74 percent and is made with 100 percent organic, Demeter-certified goat milk. This commitment to biodynamic sourcing places it among the most rigorously certified toddler growing-up milks available. A Toddler Milk for Around 10 to 12 Months and Beyond
Stage 3 is intended for toddlers from approximately 10 to 12 months of age, when a growing variety of solid foods makes up a larger share of the daily diet. Growing-up milks like this one are not a medical necessity, but many families find them a practical way to provide consistent nutrition during the toddler phase. For families who used the earlier stages in this line, Stage 3 provides continuity of the same biodynamic goat milk base.
As with all goat milk formulas, this product is not hypoallergenic and is not appropriate for children with a diagnosed cow's milk protein allergy because of cross-reactivity. Always check with your child's doctor before introducing a new formula or growing-up milk. If you are looking ahead to toddler nutrition options, browse our toddler formula collection.
Ingredients and Nutritional Composition
The milk base is full-cream goat milk and goat milk powder, sourced entirely from Demeter-certified biodynamic farms. The carbohydrate blend at this stage includes lactose, maltodextrin, and starch, providing energy for an increasingly active toddler. The vegetable oils used are sunflower oil and rapeseed oil, and this formula contains no palm oil.
DHA is sourced from oil from the microalgae Schizochytrium sp. ARA is not present in Stage 3, which is consistent with formulation standards at this age. The formula is free from artificial flavors, artificial colors, preservatives, soy, gluten, GMOs, corn syrup, and added sugar.
Authentic European Formula for US Families
EU regulations govern the production, nutrient composition, and labeling of all infant and follow-on formulas sold in Europe, including this one. Organic Formula Europe sources and ships authentic, sealed cans directly from Europe, so the product that arrives at your door is the same one available in European markets.
The expiration date on the can uses the European DD/MM/YYYY format. A date like 15/08/2026 means August 15, 2026. Store the can as directed on the label and use within the period specified after opening.
Preparing and Serving
Follow the preparation instructions on the can at every feed. Use freshly boiled water that has cooled to the temperature specified, and prepare each serving fresh rather than in batches. Always use the measuring scoop included in the can and follow the exact ratio of powder to water stated in the instructions. Powdered formula is not sterile, so clean preparation equipment and proper hygiene remain important even at this toddler stage.

How to Prepare Powdered Formula
- Boil fresh water for each feed and let it cool to the temperature printed on your can. Powdered infant formula is not sterile, so the CDC and WHO advise that water at about 158°F (70°C) lowers the risk of Cronobacter, especially for newborns and higher-risk infants. Follow your can's instructions and ask your pediatrician which approach is right for your baby.
- Pour about two-thirds of the required water into a clean, sterilized bottle.
- Use only the scoop provided with your formula pack (sizes may vary). Add the correct number of level scoops - 1 scoop per 1 oz / 30 ml of water.
- Close the bottle with the nipple and cap. Shake vigorously until all powder is dissolved.
- Add the remaining water and shake again.
- Cool to drinking temperature (approx. 98 °F / 37 °C). Always test the milk temperature before feeding to avoid scalding your baby.
Important Information
- Only use the scoop included in the package.
- Do not make feeds weaker or stronger than indicated. Do not add extra water, scoops, or other ingredients.
- Always prepare fresh. Do not prepare bottles in advance. Discard any leftovers after each feed.
- Never heat bottles in the microwave - hot spots can cause burns.
- Once opened, use formula within 21 days. Never use beyond the expiration date printed on the box/tin (format: day/month/year).
- Avoid storing formula in hot or humid environments.
