How to Prepare HiPP Pre Formula Correctly

Begin by washing your hands thoroughly and ensuring all feeding equipment, including bottles and nipples, has been properly sterilized. Use freshly drawn water that has been brought to a full boil, then allow it to cool to approximately 122°F (50°C) before using it to mix the formula. 

Pour approximately two-thirds of the required water volume into a clean, sterilized bottle first. Then, using only the scoop included in the HiPP Pre Formula box, add the correct number of level scoops of powder. Always follow the mixing chart printed on your specific tin, as scoop size and feeding volumes may vary slightly by stage. It is important to note that scoop sizes can vary between brands and even between production batches, so always use the scoop provided with your specific box and avoid substituting another brand's scoop.

Close the bottle securely and shake it well until the powder is fully dissolved. Then add the remaining water, close the bottle again, and shake once more. Before feeding your baby, always test the temperature of the prepared formula on the inside of your wrist to ensure it is comfortably warm and not too hot.

Any prepared formula that has not been consumed within two hours should be discarded. An opened tin of HiPP Pre powder should be used within three weeks and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Never strengthen or dilute the formula by adding extra scoops or extra water beyond the recommended amounts.
