How to Prepare Powdered Formula

  1. Boil fresh water for each feed. Let it cool down to about 120 °F (50 °C) before mixing with the formula.
  2. Pour about two-thirds of the required water into a clean, sterilized bottle.
  3. Use only the scoop provided with your formula pack (sizes may vary). Add the correct number of level scoops - 1 scoop per 1 oz / 30 ml of water.
  4. Close the bottle with the nipple and cap. Shake vigorously until all powder is dissolved.
  5. Add the remaining water and shake again.
  6. Cool to drinking temperature (approx. 98 °F / 37 °C). Always test the milk temperature before feeding to avoid scalding your baby.

Important Information

  1. Only use the scoop included in the package.
  2. Do not make feeds weaker or stronger than indicated. Do not add extra water, scoops, or other ingredients.
  3. Always prepare fresh. Do not prepare bottles in advance. Discard any leftovers after each feed.

  5. Once opened, use formula within 21 days. Never use beyond the expiration date printed on the box/tin (format: day/month/year).
  6. Avoid storing formula in hot or humid environments.

Breast milk is the best source of nutrition for infants. Please consult your pediatrician before introducing or changing infant formula. Infant formula is designed to meet the nutritional requirements of infants according to age. It contains carbohydrates, which are an essential part of infant nutrition. As with any carbohydrate-containing liquids, frequent or prolonged contact with the teeth may increase the risk of tooth decay. To support healthy dental habits, avoid extended bottle use and encourage transitioning to a cup when age-appropriate.

Packaging may change without notice. Always follow the preparation, storage, and feeding instructions provided on your product packaging.

What makes HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 2 different from regular cow's milk formulas?

HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 2 is specially crafted with A2 goat milk protein, which many babies find easier to digest than traditional cow's milk formulas. The formula contains only A2 beta-casein protein, excluding A1 beta-casein that's often associated with digestive discomfort. Additionally, goat milk naturally has smaller fat globules and a different protein structure, making it gentler on sensitive tummies. This makes it an excellent choice for babies who may experience mild digestive issues with cow's milk-based formulas.

When should I transition my baby to HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 2?

HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 2 is specifically designed for babies aged 6 to 12 months. You should consider transitioning when your little one reaches 6 months and shows signs of increased nutritional needs, such as greater appetite or readiness for solid foods. If your baby is currently using HiPP Goat Stage 1, the transition is typically smooth as the formulas are designed to complement each other. Always consult with your pediatrician before making any changes to ensure it aligns with your baby's individual development needs.

What are the key nutritional benefits of HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 2?

This premium Organic Formula provides comprehensive nutrition tailored for growing babies. It's enriched with essential vitamins A, C, and D to support immune function and healthy development. The formula contains Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, crucial for brain and eye development during this important growth phase. Additionally, it includes prebiotics to promote healthy gut flora and support digestive health. All ingredients meet strict European organic standards, ensuring your baby receives pure, high-quality nutrition without synthetic additives.

Is HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 2 suitable for babies with lactose sensitivity?

While HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 2 does contain lactose (as it's a natural component of goat milk), many parents find their babies tolerate it better than cow's milk formulas. The A2 protein structure and naturally easier-to-digest composition of goat milk can make a significant difference for babies with mild sensitivities. However, this formula is not suitable for babies with diagnosed lactose intolerance or milk protein allergies. If you suspect your baby has specific dietary requirements, it's essential to consult your healthcare provider before choosing any formula.

How do I prepare HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 2, and can it be combined with breast milk?

Preparing HiPP Dutch Goat Stage 2 is straightforward - simply follow the mixing instructions on the package using the provided scoop and appropriate water temperature. This versatile formula works beautifully as a complement to breastfeeding, allowing you to combination feed according to your family's needs. Many mothers successfully use it for supplemental feedings or as they gradually transition from breastfeeding. The formula can also serve as a complete breast milk substitute when needed.
