Organic Sourcing and Quality

HiPP has built its reputation on responsible sourcing and an unwavering commitment to quality that has defined the brand for generations. While HiPP Comfort Formula - All Stages is not certified organic due to the nature of its hydrolyzed milk proteins, all remaining ingredients are held to HiPP's famously high standards. The result is a formula that reflects the same careful craftsmanship found across the broader range of HiPP Organic Formula.

Ingredient Transparency

HiPP approaches ingredient selection with full transparency, making it straightforward for parents to understand what goes into every scoop. The formula's nutritional composition is designed to meet the feeding requirements of growing babies across all stages, from newborn through toddler. Families looking to explore the full range of available options can browse all Organic Formulas to find the right fit for their little one.

European Production Standards

HiPP Comfort Formula - All Stages is produced in Germany under some of the most rigorous food safety and quality assurance protocols in the world. European infant formula production is governed by strict regulatory frameworks that set clear standards for nutritional composition, ingredient sourcing, and manufacturing hygiene. Families exploring the wider HiPP lineup may also find the HiPP Comfort Formula collection a helpful starting point for comparing available options.

Preparation and Texture

HiPP Comfort Formula - All Stages is designed to dissolve smoothly and consistently. For best results, always use freshly boiled water that has been allowed to cool to approximately 104°F before adding the formula powder. Follow the preparation instructions printed on the packaging carefully, and prepare each feed fresh. Families who prefer a gentler formula variety may also wish to explore Formula for Sensitive Tummies within the HiPP range.

Sustainability and Brand Philosophy

HiPP's commitment extends well beyond the formula itself. The brand is deeply invested in environmental stewardship, operating farms and production facilities with a long-term view on sustainability. Choosing HiPP means choosing a company that holds itself accountable not just for what is in the tin, but for the broader world your child will grow up in.

Made in Europe, Trusted Worldwide

HiPP Comfort Formula - All Stages is produced under strict EU organic standards, which are significantly more rigorous than those in the US. Every batch is tested for purity, safety, and nutritional integrity.

How to Prepare Powdered Formula

  1. Boil fresh water for each feed. Let it cool down to about 120 °F (50 °C) before mixing with the formula.
  2. Pour about two-thirds of the required water into a clean, sterilized bottle.
  3. Use only the scoop provided with your formula pack (sizes may vary). Add the correct number of level scoops - 1 scoop per 1 oz / 30 ml of water.
  4. Close the bottle with the nipple and cap. Shake vigorously until all powder is dissolved.
  5. Add the remaining water and shake again.
  6. Cool to drinking temperature (approx. 98 °F / 37 °C). Always test the milk temperature before feeding to avoid scalding your baby.

Important Information

  1. Only use the scoop included in the package.
  2. Do not make feeds weaker or stronger than indicated. Do not add extra water, scoops, or other ingredients.
  3. Always prepare fresh. Do not prepare bottles in advance. Discard any leftovers after each feed.
  4. Never heat bottles in the microwave - hot spots can cause burns.
  5. Once opened, use formula within 21 days. Never use beyond the expiration date printed on the box/tin (format: day/month/year).
  6. Avoid storing formula in hot or humid environments.

Breast milk is the best source of nutrition for infants. Please consult your pediatrician before introducing or changing infant formula. Infant formula is designed to meet the nutritional requirements of infants according to age. It contains carbohydrates, which are an essential part of infant nutrition. As with any carbohydrate-containing liquids, frequent or prolonged contact with the teeth may increase the risk of tooth decay. To support healthy dental habits, avoid extended bottle use and encourage transitioning to a cup when age-appropriate.

Packaging may change without notice. Always follow the preparation, storage, and feeding instructions provided on your product packaging.

What makes HiPP Comfort Formula different from regular baby formula?

HiPP Comfort Formula is specially designed for babies experiencing digestive discomfort such as gas, constipation, and colic. Unlike standard formulas, it contains extensively hydrolyzed proteins that are broken down into smaller pieces, making them easier for sensitive tummies to digest. Additionally, HiPP Comfort has reduced lactose content and includes starch as a complementary carbohydrate, which creates a thicker consistency that helps reduce air swallowing during feeding.

Can I use HiPP Comfort Formula for my baby with lactose intolerance or milk protein allergy?

While HiPP Comfort Formula has reduced lactose content, it is not suitable for babies with diagnosed lactose intolerance. Similarly, even though the formula contains hydrolyzed proteins, it is not specifically formulated for babies with cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA). If your baby has been diagnosed with either condition, you should consult your pediatrician about appropriate alternatives such as HiPP Hypoallergenic Formula which may be better suited for babies with allergies.

Is HiPP Comfort thicker than other formulas, and do I need special bottles?

Yes, HiPP Comfort has a notably thicker consistency compared to standard infant formulas due to the addition of starch. This thicker texture is intentional as it helps prevent excessive air swallowing, which can lead to gas and colic symptoms. Because of this consistency, you'll need to use a faster-flow teat or nipple when bottle feeding to ensure your baby can drink comfortably without having to work too hard.

Can HiPP Comfort Formula be used from birth, and should it replace my baby's regular formula completely?

HiPP Comfort can be used from birth onwards under medical supervision, either as a complete feeding solution or as a supplement to breastfeeding. However, it's important to understand that this specialty formula is designed to address specific digestive issues and should be used based on your pediatrician's recommendation. Many parents use it temporarily to help resolve digestive discomfort rather than as a permanent replacement for standard Organic Formulas.

How long does it take to see improvements in my baby's digestive issues with HiPP Comfort?

While every baby responds differently, many parents report seeing improvements in their baby's comfort level within a few days to a week of switching to HiPP Comfort Formula. The specially formulated ingredients work to soften stools, reduce gas formation, and ease overall digestive discomfort. If you don't notice any improvement after two weeks or if symptoms worsen, consult your pediatrician to discuss whether this formula is the right choice for your little one's specific needs.
